Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Onni Seppala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Lukaszewicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lukaszewicz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Alter Bridge - Show me a leader. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Robert Lukaszewicz was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Lukaszewicz!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seppala tries to clinch up but Lukaszewicz circles away and keeps his distance.
Lukaszewicz avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Seppala clinches.
Lukaszewicz trying to control the position but instead, Seppala has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lukaszewicz into the cage.
Seppala throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Seppala lands a nice uppercut.
Lukaszewicz tries to circle away but Seppala has him pinned against the cage.
Seppala lands a hook that snaps the head of Lukaszewicz backwards.
Lukaszewicz wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Seppala lands a shoulder strike.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Seppala keeps control of Lukaszewicz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Seppala lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Seppala misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Lukaszewicz has had enough of the clinch but Seppala keeps him there for the moment.
Seppala works on Lukaszewicz's body with a couple of short punches.
Lukaszewicz has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Lukaszewicz tries to break the clinch but Seppala is controlling the position.
Seppala lands with a right to the head.
Seppala has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lukaszewicz is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lukaszewicz wants to get back to striking at distance but Seppala won't allow it.
Seppala throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lukaszewiczs head.
Still in the clinch, Seppala scores with a nice short uppercut.

Seppala breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lukaszewicz throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Onni Seppala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Lukaszewicz. Those never looked like landing.

Seppala forces Lukaszewicz back against the cage and clinches.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Seppala.
Seppala throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lukaszewiczs head.
Lukaszewicz wants to break free but Seppala has control.
Seppala lands a body shot.

Seppala breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Seppala doesn't manage to clinch there - Lukaszewicz circles away.
Seppala fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lukaszewicz throws a counter combo.
Lukaszewicz has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lukaszewicz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Seppala lands with a right hand.
Seppala moves out of range of the strikes.
Lukaszewicz throws a lazy right hand but Seppala sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Some wild striking there from Lukaszewicz.
Lukaszewicz throws a series of punches but Seppala moves out of range.
Seppala looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Seppala scores with a shot to the body.
Lukaszewicz looks winded!
Seppala connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


It looks like Robert Lukaszewicz has been cut.
Seppala ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Seppala sends Lukaszewicz crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Seppala is motioning to the referee to let Lukaszewicz up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Lukaszewicz is rocked!
Seppala fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Lukaszewicz square on the jaw! Damn, Lukaszewicz is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
