The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buchanan throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Buchanan tries to clinch but Andy moves out of range.
Andy throws a right and a left that Buchanan avoids nicely.

Buchanan forces Andy back against the cage and clinches.
Buchanan jumps guard but Andy stands there with Buchanan around his waist. Buchanan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Andy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Andy manages to end up in side control.

Andy decides to take the fight back to the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Andy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Buchanan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Andy. That one must have hurt.
Andy throws a combination. Buchanan tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Tyson Buchanan has been cut.

Buchanan moves into range and clinches up with Andy.
Buchanan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Buchanan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Andy throws a nice looking combination but Buchanan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Buchanan tries to clinch there but Andy circles away.
Andy tries to counter by closing the distance.
Buchanan avoids the head kick by Andy.
As Andy tries to get set, Buchanan tries to push him back and clinch up but Andy manages to avoid the attempt.

Andy has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Buchanan is trying to keep an underhook but Andy manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Buchanan tries to kick Andy off but Andy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Andy decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Buchanan is looking to clinch but Andy is avoiding it.
Jack Andy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Buchanan tries a head kick but it misses.
Andy looks for the body kick but Buchanan saw that one coming.
Andy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Buchanan manages to avoid it.
Buchanan wants to clinch up but Andy keeps it at a distance.
Andy unleashes a big counter combination but Buchanan bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Andy drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Buchanan defends it well.
