The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Miyazaki.
Miyazaki takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Miyazaki takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Miyazaki avoids a punch combination nicely.

Miyazaki drives through with a takedown into Ippo's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Ippo is looking to stand back up but Miyazaki counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ippo.
Ippo strikes from the bottom but Miyazaki passes into mount!

Ippo really wants to buck Miyazaki off and get back to his feet.
Ippo throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.
