Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paowsong just misses with a punch to the body.

Amla throws a looping overhand right but Paowsong ducks down to avoid it.
Paowsong ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Paowsong throws a jab when Amla was well out of range.
Paowsong defending well as Amla loads up on a big left hand.
Paowsong throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amla keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Paowsong is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

The fighters circling - Amla throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Paowsong throws a sloppy body shot
and Amla counters with a big right hook, that lands right on the temple! Paowsong goes down! Amla rushes to a neutral corner to get the count going quickly. This one's going to be close! 3,4,5,6,7... Paowsong is up to one knee.... 8,9.... He's up! The referee says he's good to go, so we're back to the action!
It looks like Somchai Paowsong has been cut.
Amla plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Paowsong to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Paowsong just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Remo Amla!
