Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and North West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hardon has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West moves into the clinch.
West lands a shot to the body.
Hardon is breathing heavily.

West struggles to land a body shot inside as Hardon controls his hands.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
West postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hardon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
West wants to stand but Hardon has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hardon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
A shot to the liver by West. Beautiful body shot.
West cracks Hardon with an open hand slap.
West drops Hardon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hardon looks back up at him and smiles so West waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Hardon is rocked!
West plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Hardon swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Hardon face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
