The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boroser on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Yancy Boroser has been cut.
Boroser slips under a jab.
Zavimbe throws out a loose jab but Boroser uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boroser is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Zavimbe throws an overhand right that lands on Boroser's shoulder, as Boroser tries to avoid the shot.
Boroser shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Zavimbe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Boroser doesn't seem bothered though.
David Zavimbe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zavimbe throws a right and a left that Boroser avoids nicely.
Zavimbe misses with the combination.
Boroser is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Zavimbe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Boroser's head backwards.

Zavimbe jabs Boroser to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Boroser keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zavimbe.
Boroser stuns Zavimbe with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Zavimbe thows a left - swing and a miss!
Boroser shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Zavimbe pinned against the cage. Zavimbe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Zavimbe cracks Boroser's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Boroser slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Zavimbe can do further damage! This one is done, son!
