Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Newton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yaser Khalafa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalafa on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Newton dodges the punch combination from Khalafa.
Khalafa throws a right hand that Newton ducks under and follows up with a left that Newton also avoids with ease.
Khalafa's coach down at Harambe Remembrance Hall was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Khalafa's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Newton bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Newton has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Khalafa looks to land a right hand but Newton moved out of range.

A less than humble Eddie Newton misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
