Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Womack Iii drives through and clinches with Munk against the cage.
Womack Iii lands a hook that snaps the head of Munk backwards.
Munk tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Womack Iii's elbow.
Womack Iii throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Munks head.
A short body shot lands from Womack Iii as the two fighters clinch.
Womack Iii managing to block the knees to the body from Munk.
Womack Iii lands a shot to the body.
Womack Iii lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Womack Iii stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Munk has a couple of punches blocked by Womack Iii.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Womack Iii.
Womack Iii lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Munk.
Munk throws a head punch that misses.
Womack Iii works on Munk's body with a couple of short punches.
Munk is breathing heavily.
Womack Iii lands with a short shot to the head.

Munk tries to throw a body punch but Womack Iii avoids it by throwing Munk back against the cage.
Munk's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Munk misses with a knee to the head.
Womack Iii looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Womack Iii lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Munk is rocked!

Womack Iii unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Munk! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Womack Iii is unloading with more strikes now! Munk drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
