Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Test One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pereira Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pereira Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
One scores with a jab.
One avoids a punch combination nicely.
One scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Diaz throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Diaz with a lazy takedown attempt
and One counters with a nice uppercut.
Diaz shoots in but One avoids the takedown attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diaz takes the fight into the clinch.
Diaz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
One wants to get back to striking at distance but Diaz won't allow it.
One has Diaz pushed against the cage.

Diaz is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Diaz manages to break the clinch.
One stuns Diaz with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Diaz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and One counters with a nice right hand that sends Diaz toppling to the canvas! Diaz scrambles and gets back to his feet - can One finish him?!

Diaz is rocked!
Test One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pereira Diaz.
One dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
One cracks a nice hook into Diaz's ribs.
Test One is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Diaz shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. One is trying to defend but Diaz finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

One has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Diaz is on him like a limpet, forcing One back against the cage.

Diaz gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, One regains guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

One lands with a straight right. Diaz didn't see that one coming.

Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
One looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
One scores with a shot to the body.
Pereira Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Diaz tries for a takedown but One circles away easily
and One counters with a huge left! Diaz is in big trouble! He's backing up but One isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Diaz from any more damage. A dominating finish by One!
