The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor scores with a nice right hand.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Taylor misses the shot to the body.
Patel tries to counter by clinching up but Taylor breaks away and moves out of range.
Patel displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Taylor throws out the jab.
Patel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
