The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zheng fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Owens, pushing him back against the cage.

Zheng breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Zheng is looking to clinch but Owens is avoiding it.
Owens misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Owens throws a right hand that Zheng ducks under and follows up with a left that Zheng also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Zheng lands a nice short elbow.
Owens is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Zheng looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Zheng takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Owens is looking for a sweep. Zheng is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Zheng is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Owens defends it well.

We've been hearing good reports from Owens's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
