The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans misses with a double jab
and Halfhand cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Halfhand fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Evans looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Halfhand misses with a series of wild punches.
Evans avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Evans throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Halfhand.
Halfhand lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Halfhand scores with a nice right hand.
Nice jab there from Halfhand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Halfhand lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Eddie Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Evans connects with a body shot that sends Halfhand's belly button to the back.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Halfhand, as that shot connected.

Halfhand throws a looping overhand right but Evans ducks down to avoid it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Halfhand darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Evans's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Halfhand connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Evans scrambles back to his feet.
Halfhand connects with a stiff jab that staggers Evans - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
