Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Van Der Sar checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
John throws a looping overhand right but Van Der Sar ducks down to avoid it.
Van Der Sar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
A thudding body kick lands there by Van Der Sar !
Van Der Sar lands with a good body shot.
John takes one on the button.
John takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
John blocks a low kick nicely.
Van Der Sar works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
John on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Stefan Van Der Sar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Van Der Sar dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Van Der Sar ducks under a wild hook from John.

Van Der Sar cracks John with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! John is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and John is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Van Der Sar scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Van Der Sar connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of John's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked John - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

Stefan Van Der Sar decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
