Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Daybutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sante Claws (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claws will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Daybutch blocks a head kick by Claws.
Daybutch closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Claws quickly recovers to half guard.

Daybutch seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Claws for as long as he can get away with.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Daybutch connects with a nice short shot to Claws's temple.
Daybutch has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
