The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batyr shoots in but Mcdermott avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Batyr shoots in for a double leg but Mcdermott sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Batyr darts in looking for a takedown but Mcdermott gets double underhooks and turns Batyr into the cage.
Mcdermott half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Terry Mcdermott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Raiymbek Batyr.
Batyr shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcdermott's guard.
