Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Braathen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Luis Cantero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cantero comes into a darkened arena with his song building. La mandanga kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braathen misses with a wild combination.
Braathen tries a low kick but Cantero avoids it.
Cantero gets the takedown into side control.
Braathen tries to improve position but can't.
Braathen has one of Cantero's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Cantero wants to lay and pray for a moment but Braathen keeps working.
Braathen tries to buck Cantero off but Cantero is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Braathen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Braathen is pressing down on Cantero's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Braathen controlling Cantero's posture.
Cantero is sitting in close to Braathen's body. Braathen has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cantero is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cantero is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Braathen.
