Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darren Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Yount (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robin Yount will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yount moves into the clinch.

Lamb seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Lamb wants to control but Yount is keeping him busy.

Lamb wants to lay and pray for a moment but Yount keeps working.
Yount is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lamb drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Yount dives on top into guard.

Yount seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Yount wants to get up but he can't break Lamb's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lamb fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Yount avoids it really well and circles away.

Lamb ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yount moves away.
Lamb throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Yount cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Yount throws a right hand that Lamb ducks under and follows up with a left that Lamb also avoids with ease.

Yount throws a head kick but Lamb moves out of range.

A nice inside leg kick there by Yount. That's going to slow Lamb down.
Lamb throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Yount stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Yount is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lamb.

Yount fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lamb on the side of the head.
Lamb uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yount.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lamb, as that shot connected.
Yount throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Lamb tries to work over Yount's front leg with a kick but Yount checks it.

Lamb seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Crunch! Yount slams his shin into Lamb's torso.
Yount fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Lamb is out of range.
Yount misses with a kick to the body.

and Yount moves into the clinch.
Yount pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Lamb goes for a takedown attempt but Yount pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Lamb bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Yount on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Yount is looking to improve his position.

Darren Lamb overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Lamb looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A little jabbing left from Yount on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
