And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank The Tank!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shavershian lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but The Tank circles away quickly and effectively.
And The Tank tries to counter it with a takedown but Shavershian pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nice sprawl there from Shavershian as The Tank shoots in.
The Tank looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


It looks like Frank The Tank has been cut.
The Tank tries to clinch
and Shavershian counters with a two punch combo.
Shavershian goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Shavershian getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
The crowd cheers as Shavershian lands an impressive looking overhand right. The Tank doesn't seem phased though.
A right-left combo lands from Shavershian.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Shavershian lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
The Tank fails in his attempt to clinch.
As The Tank looks to move away, Shavershian throws a big counter combo but The Tank just gets out of the way.
Shavershian lands with a nice combination. The Tank backs away looking to recover.


That has opened up Frank The Tank's cut even more.
Shavershian scores with a push kick.
The Tank on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Shavershian lands the left hand.
Shavershian scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Shavershian throws a series of punches but The Tank moves out of range.
The Tank tries to clinch up
and Shavershian counters with a flying knee. Nice.
The Tank takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Shavershian lands a body shot.
The Tank looks winded!
The Tank takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.


The cut above Frank The Tank's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Shavershian's corner calls for a 1-2. Shavershian obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Shavershian connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between The Tank's hands.
The Tank gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Shavershian drops The Tank with a right and a left! Shavershian comes rushing in but The Tank regains his composure and manages to keep Shavershian in guard.


Frank The Tank's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Shavershian drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Shavershian jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Shavershian thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Shavershian drops back, looking for a kneebar! The Tank looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. The Tank looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from The Tank!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Shavershian's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Shavershian sneaks out the side door and pushes The Tank away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Shavershian scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank The Tank's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Aziz Shavershian!
The defeated Frank The Tank had this to say: 'He was the better fighter tonight. I should have been better prepared. '.
