Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Emmett Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artyr Zimorev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimorev tries for a takedown but Rogers sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rogers appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Rogers gets a clinch.
Rogers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Zimorev fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Rogers jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Rogers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Zimorev closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rogers circles away.
A quick step to the side and Rogers tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Zimorev's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Rogers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zimorev pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Zimorev shoots for a double leg takedown but Rogers sprawls well. He's pushed Zimorev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
