Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between No Name (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Morningstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morningstar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Karma Chamelion. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Name.
Nice sprawl there from Morningstar as Name shoots in.
Name shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morningstar but Morningstar pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for No Name. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morningstar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Name sprawls well initially but Morningstar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Morningstar is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Morningstar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Name knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Name gets full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Name being controlled here, momentarily.
Morningstar is looking to work some ground and pound but Name has wrist control.

Morningstar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Morningstar trying to control but Name is working from the bottom.
Morningstar throws an elbow that misses. Name uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Morningstar's guard. Nice move by Name!
Name showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Name advances position into side control!
Name working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Name looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Morningstar is not content to let Name control the position.
Name throws a strike aimed at the side of Morningstar's head but Morningstar avoids it well.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Name thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morningstar is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Morningstar can do anything to dispel that myth.
Name tries to move into full mount but can't pass Morningstar's legs.
Name content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Morningstar wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Name working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Name fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Morningstar is sitting in close to Name's body. Name has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Morningstar is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Morningstar is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Name.
