Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coyt Jabson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Nastanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Coyt Jabson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Nastanovich!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabson throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Nastanovich counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nastanovich.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Jabson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nastanovich controls the pace.
Nastanovich looking to sit in guard and control but Jabson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Nastanovich is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nastanovich looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nastanovich is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Jabson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nastanovich sprawls well. Nastanovich wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jabson gets slowly back to his feet.
Jabson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nastanovich is fending him off so far but Jabson persists. Nope, Nastanovich circles away and we're back to standing.
Nastanovich is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Jabson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nastanovich napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Jabson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nastanovich keeps working.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jabson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nastanovich has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jabson has managed to get both his arms back between Nastanovich's legs - danger averted.

Jabson passes Nastanovich's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jabson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Bob Nastanovich will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Nastanovich shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jabson but Jabson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Nastanovich tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jabson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nastanovich shoots in looking for a takedown. Jabson tries to sprawl out of it but Nastanovich keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jabson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jabson stuffs the takedown attempt from Nastanovich. Nastanovich gets slowly back to his feet.
Coyt Jabson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Nastanovich.

Nastanovich closes the distance and pushes Jabson back into the cage.

A head punch on the inside from Jabson fails to land.
Jabson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Nastanovich is pressed up against the cage. Jabson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nastanovich down to the mat. Nastanovich avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Coyt Jabson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jabson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nastanovich lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jabson circles away quickly and effectively.

and Nastanovich counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jabson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nastanovich defends well and Jabson ends up having to push Nastanovich into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Coyt Jabson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Jabson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Nastanovich manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jabson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Nastanovich goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Nastanovich breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
