De Gaul kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Asterix and Obelix. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mood keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mood clobbers De Gaul with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Obelix De Gaul has been cut.
We've been told by De Gaul's head coaches at Hey Steves Fight Shack that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
De Gaul takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mood connects with a leg kick. De Gaul looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
De Gaul waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mood.
De Gaul tried to score with a low kick but Mood checks it.
Mood lands with a straight right. De Gaul didn't see that one coming.
De Gaul on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
De Gaul goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
De Gaul throws a right hand that Mood ducks under and follows up with a left that Mood also avoids with ease.
Mood getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Mood misses with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mood blocks the body kick.
Mood throws a leg kick which misses De Gaul's front leg but catches the back leg as De Gaul tries to avoid it.
Mood fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mood scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Mood moves away from the strike by De Gaul.
Mood lands a leg kick that knocks De Gaul off balance momentarily.
Crunch! De Gaul slams his shin into Mood's torso.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mood scores with a body shot.
Mood blocks the body kick.
De Gaul misses the shot to the body.
De Gaul ducks right into an uppercut from Mood.
De Gaul fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mood works over De Gaul's head and body with a nice combination.
Mood thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on De Gaul if he has to take too many more of those.

Mood lands a big uppercut and De Gaul crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but De Gaul looks OK. Mood waves De Gaul back to his feet!

De Gaul is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mood cracks a nice hook into De Gaul's ribs.
De Gaul is breathing heavily.
De Gaul takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A punch combination from Mood misses.
De Gaul takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Mood is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Mood connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Mood paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Oh De Gaul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mood throws an uppercut from hell that sends De Gaul clean off his feet! He's out cold! Mood stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
