The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradbury shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Montoya defends it nicely.

Montoya moves into the clinch.
Montoya looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bradbury jumps guard and drags Montoya to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Bradbury wants to sweep but no luck.
Montoya throws an elbow that misses. Bradbury uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Montoya's guard. Nice move by Bradbury!

Montoya has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close round but I would say that Wilfredo Montoya will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Bradbury wants to reverse the position here. Montoya has hold of a leg though and he's dropped back looking for a kneebar! The fighters roll across the mat but Bradbury is forced to tap! Bradbury looks devastated but at least his leg points in the right direction.
