The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Herpich counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A lazy left from Herpich finds it's target.
Herpich lands a right hook to the body.

Harris gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Herpich counters with a one-two to the body.

Harris is trying to trip Herpich. He has hold of a leg but Herpich is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Harris persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Harris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
