The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thuny changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Newton tries to avoid it but Thuny manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Newton to the ground. Newton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Newton bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Newton shoots in and bounces Thuny off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
