The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mugabi lands a body shot.
Mugabi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Quinlan.
John Mugabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quinlan tries to work over Mugabi's front leg with a kick but Mugabi checks it.
Mugabi takes a swing at Quinlan's ribcage but misses.
A jab from Quinlan finds it's way through Mugabi's defenses.
Mugabi throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mugabi feints and then cracks Quinlan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Quinlan down.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mugabi. Quinlan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quinlan cracks a nice hook into Mugabi's ribs.
Mugabi looks to score with a jab to the body but Quinlan is just out of range.
Mugabi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mugabi swings for the body but Quinlan moves out of range.
A countering left hand to the body from Quinlan misses.
Quinlan avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Mugabi throws a head kick but Quinlan moves out of range.
Mugabi is looking to land body kicks.
Quinlan misses with a hook.
Quinlan swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Quinlan's coach down at Total Impact MMA/KT was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Quinlan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A bone on bone clash there as Mugabi blocks the leg kick.
Mugabi throws a good cross that connects.

Quinlan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mugabi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A left and a right from Quinlan both land. Nice combination.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Quinlan.
Quinlan misses with a hook.
Quinlan misses the jab.
Quinlan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Mugabi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Mugabi punishes Quinlan's body with a nice straight punch.
Quinlan cracks Mugabi with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mugabi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mugabi throws a body shot but no joy.
A good leg kick by Quinlan.
Quinlan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mugabi.
A nice combination there by Mugabi.

Mugabi lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Quinlan falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mugabi dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
