PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Lethal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lethal comes into the arena with we're off to see the wizard blaring out of the sound system. Chris Shaw told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Matt Lethal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lethal scores with a jab. Shaw acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Lethal scores with a spinning back kick!
A decent looking cross lands there for Lethal.
Lethal tries to land a body kick
and Shaw counters with a two punch combo.
Lethal looks to land a left hand but Shaw moved out of range nicely.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Shaw! But no joy.
Lethal with a nice cross.
Lethal cracks Shaw with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
No joy there for Shaw, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shaw looks to score with a jab to the body but Lethal is just out of range.
Lethal is looking to counter punch.
Shaw takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Shaw is rocked!
Lethal connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Shaw out cold! This one is over in a flash!
