The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shack feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Shack is standing up over Todd. Todd looks to escape but Shack dives into side control.

Shack is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Todd's shoulder. That is not cool.
Shack's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Shack is working to tighten his grip on Todd's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Todd has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Shack is really squeezing tight and eventually Todd passes out! Shack breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
