Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade tries for a takedown but French circles away easily

and French counters by moving into the clinch.
French is trying to pull guard but Wade has him pressed against the cage.
French is trying to force a seperation but Wade has the dominant position.

French manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Wade throws a big right hand that misses.
Wade slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wade pushes down on French's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Well, if Wade is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Wade wants to control but French is keeping him busy.
French really is a fat lump.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wade stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Wade blocks a head kick by French.
Wade shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. French defends it nicely.

French pushes Wade off and gets back to his feet.

French shoots in for a double leg but Wade sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

French gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Wade is standing up over French. French looks to escape but Wade dives into side control.

A lull in the action here as Wade stalls from top position.
Wade wants to lay and pray for a moment but French keeps working.

French is trying to get back to half guard.
Wade advances nicely into full mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Wade has isolated one of French's arms. French looking to fight him off but Wade twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
