Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Michael Patrick Declan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Seivard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Seivard is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by No Sleep Til Brooklyn by the Beastie Boys. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Declan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Declan throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Seivard stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Declan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Seivard.
Declan lands the left hand.

Declan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Declan thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Declan is trying to get an arm triangle but Seivard is defending well.

Declan tries for a kimura but Seivard is defending well.
Seivard tries to buck Declan off but Declan is having none of it.

Seivard looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Seivard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Declan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Declan tries to advance to mount but can't.
Seivard is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We've been hearing that Declan has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Seivard sneaks out the side door and pushes Declan away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Kyle Seivard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Declan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Declan lands in his opponent's guard.
