Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Zaitsev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Erickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaitsev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Erickson manages to avoid it.
A nice side step and Erickson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Good leg kick by Zaitsev there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Zaitsev throws a jab but it's blocked by Erickson.
A looping hook to the body misses from Erickson. Zaitsev does a little dance to reset his feet.

Zaitsev lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Zaitsev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
