Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Arjan Kush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kame Sennin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kush comes to the cage accompanied by Red Hot Chill Peppers-Snow. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arjan Kush!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kame Sennin!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sennin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kush has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Kush fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sennin cracks Kush with an open hand slap.
Sennin lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Sennin with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sennin's corner calls for a 1-2. Sennin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kush shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sennin as he jumps to the side.

Kush shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Sennin manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sennin is trying to keep Kush in close.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sennin can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kush throws a big elbow that misses.
Kush might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kush has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Kush drops back looking for a leg! Sennin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sennin manages to kick Kush off! Kush jumps back into Sennin's guard.

Kush stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sennin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Sennin holds on and takes a little breather.

Kush drops back, looking for a kneebar! Sennin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Sennin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Sennin!

Kush is looking for a sweep.
Sennin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kush. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kush manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Sennin looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Kush is refusing to be controlled, as Sennin sits in half guard.
Kush tries to get to full guard but Sennin has control of the leg.
Kush is working hard here to advance position.
Sennin is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Kush is looking for a sweep. Sennin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Kush wants to improve his position but Sennin is controlling well.

Sennin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kush swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sennin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Kush is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Kush has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sennin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters circle momentarily. Sennin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kush looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Sennin throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kush's head.

Sennin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sennin throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.


Kush is rocked!
Kush shoots in looking for a takedown. Sennin tries to sprawl out of it but Kush keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sennin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Kush is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kush takes one on the button.
Kush seems to have got his legs back now.
Sennin connects with an inside leg kick.
Sennin throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kush gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sennin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Arjan Kush is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kush shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sennin pinned against the cage. Sennin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sennin lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Kame Sennin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Sennin. Kush shrugs it off though.

Kush jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sennin walks away with a smile on his face. Kush gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kush walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Sennin scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Sennin turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Kush shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sennin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Horrible takedown attempt by Kush or perhaps it was just good defense by Sennin, which made it look bad.
Sennin flicks out a counter leg kick but Kush steps away.

Good leg kick by Sennin there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kush is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Kush drops back looking for a leg! Sennin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sennin manages to kick Kush off! Kush jumps back into Sennin's guard.

Kush changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sennin tries to avoid it but Kush manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sennin to the ground. Sennin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Kush walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
