Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chester Jones!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Marc Dutroux!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dutroux is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.
Dutroux cracks Jones with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jones forces Dutroux back against the cage and clinches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Dutroux.
A short uppercut from Dutroux.
Dutroux pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jones swings away with a body shot that misses
and Dutroux connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice shot lands for Jones.
Dutroux swings widly with a right hand
and Jones counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Dutroux is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jones perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Jones stalling away here and it's allowed Dutroux to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Jones won't allow Dutroux to get back to his feet.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dutroux swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones advances position into side control!
Dutroux is trying to escape the position but Jones is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dutroux knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jones swings around for an armbar but Dutroux sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jones's guard.
Dutroux is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jones has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dutroux is looking to defend but Jones has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dutroux! Jones pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dutroux taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Chester Jones!

Our winner, Chester Jones, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
