Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Monty Python (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahmoud Mousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahmoud Mousa told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Monty Python!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mahmoud Mousa!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mousa clinches up against the cage.
Python trying to control the position but instead, Mousa has worked for underhooks and has pushed Python into the cage.
Mousa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mousa pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mousa darts in looking for a takedown but Python gets double underhooks and turns Mousa into the cage.
Python is looking to counter with a body kick.
Mousa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Python's guard.
Mousa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Python has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mousa has managed to get both his arms back between Python's legs - danger averted.
Python working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mousa.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mousa has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Python to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mousa is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Python pulls down on the head and he's put Mousa to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Monty Python!
