The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mousaki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lapp pinned against the cage. Lapp gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mousaki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lapp is looking to regain half guard here but Mousaki keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mousaki looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Mousaki is looking to take a break and control but Lapp is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Lapp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mousaki on the ground.
Lapp tries to bench press Mousaki off him but Mousaki keeps the position.

Mousaki tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Mousaki passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lapp!
Mousaki fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Lapp is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
