Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aharon Sarkisyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aspen Springfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Springfield is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Traditional Fools - Street Surfin'. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Springfield takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Springfield on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Sarkisyan. Sarkisyan obviously looking to wear him down.
Sarkisyan moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Springfield walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sarkisyan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sarkisyan, as that shot connected.

Springfield shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sarkisyan as he avoids it easily.
Springfield tries a head kick but it misses.
As Springfield tries to get set, Sarkisyan tries to push him back and clinch up but Springfield manages to avoid the attempt.
Springfield uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sarkisyan.
Sarkisyan throws a head kick but Springfield moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Sarkisyan works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Sarkisyan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Springfield has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Crunch! Springfield slams his shin into Sarkisyan's torso.
Sarkisyan will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Springfield follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Springfield checks a low kick from Sarkisyan.
Springfield appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Sarkisyan looks to land a left hand but Springfield moved out of range nicely.
Sarkisyan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That kick from Sarkisyan tenderised Springfield's leg. Springfield is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sarkisyan stuffs the takedown.
Sarkisyan tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Springfield manages to circle out of the way.
Springfield sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Springfield motions for Sarkisyan to come forward. Springfield throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Sarkisyan seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Springfield throws a chopping leg kick but Sarkisyan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Sarkisyan clobbers Springfield with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Donk. Sarkisyan catches Springfield right on the button with a cross.
Springfield with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sarkisyan to score with a decent uppercut.
Sarkisyan scores with a crisp jab that stopped Springfield in his tracks.
Springfield tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Sarkisyan defends well and Springfield ends up having to push Sarkisyan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Springfield checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
