Lee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Welcome to the Jungle by Guns and Roses. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamphard defending well as Lee loads up on a big left hand.
Lee blocks a head kick by Lamphard.
Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lamphard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lee misses with a series of wild punches.

Lamphard moves into the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Lamphard.
Lamphard lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lee backwards.

Lamphard pulls guard effortlessly.

Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Lee looking to pass the guard.
Lamphard is looking to stand up but Lee isn't so interested in that idea.

Lee is looking to pass into half guard but Lamphard pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Lamphard is in guard.

Lee is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lamphard frees his head nicely. Oh but Lee has switched to an armbar! Lamphard is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
