Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sixten Sason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Old Man Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sason 's entrance music is Parkway Drive - Wild Eyes. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins throws a right and a left that Sason avoids nicely.
Sason fails with the takedown.
Jenkins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Sason 's head backwards.
Sason misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jenkins digs a good body shot into Sason 's ribs.

Sason takes a swing at Jenkins's ribcage but misses.
Jenkins throws a nice looking combination but Sason bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Jenkins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jenkins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jenkins can't break the clinch.
Sason tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sason tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jenkins's elbow.

Jenkins wants to get back to striking at distance but Sason won't allow it.

Sason 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Sason has picked Jenkins up - he's going for a ride! Sason dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sason connects with a nice short shot to Jenkins's temple.
Sason is trying to control the action in half guard but Jenkins is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sason lands a nice short elbow.

Sason is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jenkins defends it well.
Jenkins is looking to get back to is feet but Sason passes into side control.
Jenkins takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sason tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sason has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jenkins is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Sason off and has taken his back!

Sason feinted with a counter takedown.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Sason here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Sason works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Sason is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jenkins can do to turn this around?
Jenkins wants to improve his position but instead Sason has moved into half guard.
Sason lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Sason wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing that Sason has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Sason looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jenkins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

That has opened up Old Man Jenkins's cut even more.
Jenkins wants to control but Sason is keeping busy.

The cut above Old Man Jenkins's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Jenkins has hold of Sason 's hands but Sason slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Old Man Jenkins's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
