The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anthony misses with a hook. Cada ducked under it nicely.
Cada changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Anthony looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Anthony throws a looping overhand right but Cada ducks down to avoid it.
Cada ducks under a wild hook from Anthony.
Cada now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

Cada gets a double leg takedown into Anthony's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cada slips nicely into half guard.

Cada is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Anthony defends it well.

Cada wants to control the pace but Anthony is squirming around nicely.
Cada breaks from Anthony's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Anthony knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cada on the ground.

Cada is working for a guillotine from mount but Anthony frees his head quite easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cada wants to take Anthony's back but he can't do it this time.

Cada working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Anthony looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Cada! Submission of the night perhaps?
