Jackson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Beat It. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jackson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Jackson throws out a loose jab but Ali uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ali clinches with his opponent.
Ali is trying to push Jackson away but Jackson has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Ali tries a body shot but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson just leaning against Ali, taking a breather.
Ali drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ali is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jackson to keep the fight standing.
Jackson goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ali is working for takedown but Jackson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Mikael Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zico Ali.
Ali turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ali manages to end up in side control.

Ali throws a sloppy strike and Jackson has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Ali is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Jackson!
