Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santo Dorsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Babatunde Kwame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babatunde Kwame has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santo Dorsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Babatunde Kwame!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorsey with a lazy takedown attempt

and Kwame counters with a shoot takedown. Dorsey fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kwame is stalling in the full guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kwame's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Kwame engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Dorsey really is a fat lump.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kwame trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Let's hope that Kwame has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Kwame is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Dorsey tries to clinch but Kwame is having none of it.
Kwame changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Kwame fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dorsey sprawls well initially but Kwame persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Dorsey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Kwame counters with a nice uppercut.
Dorsey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kwame circles away.
Kwame tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Kwame darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kwame has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kwame is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dorsey on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Kwame is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kwame seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Kwame has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dorsey's face.

Dorsey takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Kwame takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Dorsey is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kwame breaks from Dorsey's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Dorsey keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dorsey is bucking up trying to escape but Kwame cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Kwame lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Dorsey hang on?

Babatunde Kwame showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Well Kwame has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
