The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Burton moves into range and clinches up with Sutton.
Sutton is trying to push Burton away but Burton has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Sutton is trying to force a seperation but Burton has the dominant position.
Burton wants a takedown.
Sutton has Burton pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Burton manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Burton breaks the clinch.
Sutton shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Burton counters with a nice body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burton drives through with a takedown into Sutton's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sutton is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Sutton is pressing down on Burton's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Burton is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Burton makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Sutton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sutton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Burton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Sutton is tightening it up a little... Burton has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Burton reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Burton taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sutton!
