These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skovgaard tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Skovgaard dips to his left and cracks Koal with an uppercut!
Jab by Skovgaard.
Valentin Skovgaard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Skovgaard just misses with a punch to the body.
Koal thinks about countering with a head kick.

Skovgaard sends Koal crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Skovgaard is motioning to the referee to let Koal up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Koal is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Koal doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Oh Koal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Koal misses with a head kick.
Despite the aggression on Skovgaard's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Koal seems to have got his legs back now.

Koal lands a big head kick that sends Skovgaard tumbling to the mat! Koal takes a step backwards and waves Skovgaard back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Skovgaard is rocked!

It looks like Valentin Skovgaard has been cut.

Skovgaard pounces like a tiger and cracks Koal with a vicious hook! Koal is down but not out! Skovgaard follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
