The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Kenway does no damage.
Kenway walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Orwell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Orwell tries to close the distance and clinch but Kenway swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Orwell rushes Kenway and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kenway can't get the takedown.
Kenway wants to get back to striking at distance but Orwell won't allow it.
Orwell tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kenway 's elbow.
Orwell lands a shot to the body.
Orwell lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kenway swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Orwell lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kenway backwards.
Orwell blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kenway blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Orwell is working Kenway over against the cage.

Kenway is trying to break the clinch but Orwell has him pressed against the cage.
I was talking to Orwell's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Orwell drops Kenway onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kenway is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Kenway is rocked!
Orwell creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Kenway with a big uppercut! Kenway tries to clinch up but Orwell pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Kenway to the mat! Kenway covers up and Orwell unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). George Orwell!
