Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Julius Caesar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Pollard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caesar comes into the arena with Roman Legion March blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Julius Caesar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Corey Pollard!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Phil Schofield and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pollard misses with a kick to the body
enabling Caesar to counter with a crisp jab.


It looks like Corey Pollard has been cut.
Pollard jabs at Caesar's body.
Caesar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pollard.
Caesar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pollard was well out of range. Poor timing from Caesar.
Caesar connects with a right hand. Pollard shakes it off.
Caesar needs to keep his hands up - Pollard had a free shot at his head there.
Pollard scores with a jab to the head.
Caesar is looking to clinch but Pollard is avoiding it.
Pollard fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Caesar manages to avoid it.
Pollard throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
An attempted straight right counter from Caesar misses the target.
Caesar smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Pollard's jab looks to have found its range, popping Caesar under the eye.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pollard tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Caesar was well out of range. Poor timing from Pollard.
Pollard tries to land a body kick
and Caesar counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pollard thinking.
Caesar lands a nice hook to Pollard's body. Pollard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Caesar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pollard manages to avoid it.
Caesar avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A combination from Pollard does no damage.
Pollard throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pollard takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Pollard moves away from the strike by Caesar.

Caesar cracks Pollard with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Pollard looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Caesar finish him?


Pollard is rocked!
Caesar drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Pollard's head, knocking him out cold! Caesar is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Julius Caesar!
A very excited looking Julius Caesar made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
