Lowe has chosen Drake - Best I Ever Had as his entrance music. Rock Pounder could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to CJay Lowe's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pounder tries to clinch up.

Lowe might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pounder kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Pounder is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lowe will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Pounder has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lowe regains guard immediately.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lowe keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Pounder closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lowe has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pounder is working away from the top position though.
Pounder tries to pass to full mount but Lowe defends it.
Pounder thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lowe's head.
Pounder wants to stand but Lowe has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Pounder seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lowe does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Lowe gets the takedown into side control.
Lowe remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lowe is stalling here. Pounder is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lowe seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pounder has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Lowe seems a little lost for a moment, as Pounder dominates the positioning.
Lowe is trying to control Pounder's posture but Pounder avoids it.

Pounder is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Lowe is trying to escape and Pounder transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Lowe is forced to tap! Nice work there by Pounder! Very nice indeed!
