Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mountain Rivera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adelbert Gainsborough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gainsborough comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Whole Lotta Love kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Gainsborough misses.
Rivera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Gainsborough feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Riveras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Gainsborough closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rivera did well to prevent Gainsborough getting side control.
Gainsborough is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Rivera on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rivera tries to get out of the position.
Rivera is trying to control but can't.
Gainsborough winds up and cracks Rivera with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Gainsborough connects with a nice short shot to Rivera's temple.
Gainsborough is taking a breather. Rivera says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Rivera is looking to improve his position.
Rivera is not content to let Gainsborough control the position.
Gainsborough thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Gainsborough lands a big elbow - Rivera is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Gainsborough!
