The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Athanas fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Barton misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Athanas.
Athanas tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Barton manages to circle out of the way.
Athanas misses with a two punch combination.
Barton throws out a counter right but Athanas avoids it with no problem.
Athanas lands a jab.
Barton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Athanas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Athanas sends Barton crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Athanas is motioning to the referee to let Barton up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Barton is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barton walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Athanas! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
