Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aidan McVeigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McVeigh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to E-Dubble - Let Me Oh. This should be a great matchup!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joseph Jackson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


It looks like Aidan McVeigh has been cut.

McVeigh needs to keep his hands up - Jackson had a free shot at his head there.

McVeigh clinches up with Jackson and pushes him back against the cage.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McVeigh tries a head kick but it misses.
Jackson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Aidan McVeigh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McVeigh wants to clinch.
Jackson throws a right and a left that both miss.
McVeigh is looking to clinch.
Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
McVeigh tries to clinch there but Jackson circles away.

and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

The fighters circle momentarily. Jackson darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aidan McVeigh dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Jackson lands with an overhand left.

Jackson lands a left and a right that send McVeigh crashing to the mat, dazed. Jackson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!


McVeigh is rocked!
McVeigh throws an off balance right hand
and Jackson counters with a huge right that knocks McVeigh out cold! Jackson is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joseph Jackson!
Joseph Jackson was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
