Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between TJ Welsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mack Ua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Welsh comes to the cage accompanied by Lets Have A War. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Ua.

It looks like TJ Welsh has been cut.
Mack Ua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Welsh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ua napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Welsh looking to control but instead Ua has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.

Welsh seems to be working for a kimura but Ua defends the submission attempt.
Ua is positioning himself well to prevent Welsh advancing to mount.
Ua is trying to control but can't.
Welsh is pressing down on Ua's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ua is holding on for now.
Welsh is trying to control the action in half guard but Ua is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ua won't allow Welsh to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ua is refusing to be controlled, as Welsh sits in half guard.

Welsh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ua doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Welsh.
Ua wants to control but Welsh is keeping busy.

Welsh stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Welsh fails with a takedown attempt.
Welsh is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Welsh tries to clinch but Ua moves out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Welsh looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've been hearing reports that Welsh has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Ua shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Welsh eats them both and turns towards Ua to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Welsh uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ua.
Welsh tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ua swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice uppercut there from Ua.

Welsh is rocked!

Ua gets a clinch.
Welsh blocks a body shot from Ua.
Ua misses with a hook from the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Ua.
Oh Welsh is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ua lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ua creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Welsh's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Welsh drops to his knees and Ua pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
